Right now the bite at Connetquot is on fire. with fish taking streamers and nymphs its a great time to learn to fly fish or break the cabin fever. We have a great selection of flies and other great to make sure your day of fishing is great. Fishing for herring was the main thing this early this winter. Make sure your rods and reels are all in good shape for next season and check your lines for wear, and make sure to change the hooks on your plugs to ensure you don't drop any fish.
February 9th: Bill Wetzel will be here at 1pm to teach you how to fish the back bays, break down beach structure and choosing the right lures and right tides to fish. learning these things is essential to having a productive year in the surf.
March 9th: John Paduano will be here at 1pm to discuss how to break down your fishing season and will also be tying his Tarantula Bucktail.
March 23rd:John McMurray will be here at 1pm and will help you learn about using light tackle and fly fishing for stripedbass. Also he will be telling us how we can help conserve our fishery.
**All of the seminars are free and all attendees will receive 10% off of their fishing purchases**
Every Sunday at 9am will be our Fly tying classes. $5 entry fee will cover the material cost. You will get 10% off your fishing purchase after the class.
